TRUMPET ORCHESTRA OF MIHAILO STOJKANOVIC
In Serbia, trumpets traditionally announce the most important events: the birth of a child, baptism, as well as wedding ceremonies and family celebrations. The trumpet orchestra Mihailo Stojkanovic (Gipsy Band), well-known for its excellent interpretation of traditional Serbian music, will support the dance group Djido during some of its performances. It will also perform individually at concerts with catchy rhythms.
> Such brass bands, called gipsy bands, are a heritage of the Travellers. There are many of them in Serbia.
During the RFI, the artists from Serbia (orchestra) will take part in the following events:
