The Grupo de Danzas Ciudad de Dos Hermanas, from the province of Seville, was founded in 1963 in the form of a group of children. Over time, its members grew up and this ensemble became a group of adults. Its repertoire is varied: it is composed of music and dances from the «Escuela bolera», of dances of the city and of Flamenco dances. The aim of this group is to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Andalucía and to recreate some local village scenes of past times. Throughout the year, this group organises some exhibitions and seminars on local traditions, as well as «Sevillanas» and Flamenco classes.
