The 44th edition of the Rencontres de folklore internationales de Fribourg (RFI) is placed under the theme «Drums and Fire».
After highlighting folklore influenced by the gipsies, the festival will present folklore where percussion is omnipresent and where fire is used in specific dances or rituals.
