KUD BASCARSIJA
The association «Bascarsija» was founded in 1947 in Sarajevo. Its name refers to a neighborhood in the historic center of the city. The group preserves part of its country’s rich cultural heritage through its dances, songs, musical instruments and numerous costumes. Presenting national songs holds a special place in the association. «Bascarsija» has received several awards for the quality of its performances.
